IOER Forum from autumn with new concept

The series "IOER Forum" starts in autumn 2023 with a new look. The series of events of the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) serves the dialogue and exchange with society. So far it has offered thematically diverse lectures. Now new formats are being added. Participation is open to all interested parties and is still free of charge.

In future, there will be an annual spring and autumn series, each dedicated to a specific topic. Another innovation concerns the formats. In addition to the already familiar lectures by academics and practitioners, there will now be a panel discussion. This discussion format opens each series. The panel will be made up of actors who each have their own perspective on the topic at hand. In this way, all perspectives on the topic are given a stage at the start of each series. In the weeks that follow, the panel discussion will be followed by various lectures that delve into individual aspects of the topic from a scientific or practical perspective. As usual, these lectures will be flanked by co-presentations from the IOER. The new concept starts in autumn with a series dedicated to the topic of land use. More information will follow.

The IOER Forum is still open to all interested parties. Participation is free of charge, registration is not required. If you would like to be informed by e-mail about upcoming dates and further events of the IOER, please write to k.vogelioer@ioer.de.
