This year, the Dresden Leibniz Graduate School (DLGS) Summer School will focus on the question of how policy and planning can adapt and transform to effectively address complex sustainability challenges. Current PhD candidates from all relevant disciplines and stages of research are invited to present their work on related topics.
On 19 September, a workshop on “Planning for Change and Uncertainties: Adaptability, AI and Their Critical Underpinnings for the Future of Cities” is on the programme. It will be led by Professor Lauren Andres, Director of Research at the Bartlett School of Planning and Chair of Planning and Urban Transformation at University College London. Participants will also present their research work. Experienced scholars from the IOER and its partner institutions will provide expert feedback.
On day 2 of the Summer School, 20 September, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a local excursion exploring a current policy and planning challenge. The destination will be determined based on participants’ interests.
Language of the event: Englisch
Registration fee: 50 Euro
