Book a Scientist – Speed Dating with Science

On October 15, curious minds are invited to a new edition of "Book a Scientist". In this format, initiated by the Leibniz Association, Leibniz researchers answer questions on topics that touch everyday life. This time, four scientists from the IOER are taking part.

In the current round of the "Book a Scientist" format, IOER is represented by four scientists. Book now an exclusive, virtual conversation.

Talk to Susanne Müller about how people can reconnect with nature - their own and non-human nature - to initiate change towards sustainability. Martin Schinagl tells you how digital technologies are influencing urban planning. Jonathan Morris explores the potential of public procurement to develop innovative products, processes and companies that help tackle the challenges of sustainability. Mabel Ramisch asks how sustainable food relationships can be promoted.

At "Book a Scientist", interested parties can now book an exclusive, virtual conversation with scientists on all these topics and 130 more. A complete overview and further information on the event can be found on the website of the Leibniz Association. The talks are partly offered in German and English. To book a one-to-one meeting, send an e-mail to veranstaltungenioer@leibniz-gemeinschaft.de stating your name, the chosen topic and the desired time slot.
