Marc Wolfram confirmed as ISDRS board member

The director of the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER), Professor Dr. Marc Wolfram, was re-elected for another term as a board member of the International Sustainable Development Research Society (ISDRS) in December.

The ISDRS is a global network of sustainable development professionals that links researchers in academia and implementation practice. It has a total of more than 2,800 members worldwide. Professor Marc Wolfram has been a board member of the ISDRS since 2018.

In the ISDRS, Marc Wolfram engages in the Topic Group VI "Cities and Regions", as well as in the ISDRS mentoring scheme for early-career scientists. He is particularly interested in the tracks "Transformation" and "Resilience". His new term of office starts on January 1st, 2021.

ISDRS 2021 Conference in planning

In addition, Marc Wolfram is also a member of the ISDRS conference committee for 2021. The 27th edition of this international conference will be organised as an online event. The conference will be held from July 13 to 15, 2021, and also includes a PhD day on July 12th. The conference theme will be "Accelerating progress towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in times of crisis".
