Interactive Map - Land Use Change in the Saxon Switzerland

 

For analysing land use change of the Saxon Switzerland the following maps were used:

1992

Digital vector data, combination of the Biotope type and land use map (1:10.000) and the German authoritative topographic cartographical information system (ATKIS; 1:25.000)

1940

Survey Maps (Messtischblätter; 1:25.000)

1900

Survey Maps (Messtischblätter; 1:25.000)

1880

Equidistant Maps (Äquidistantenkarten; 1:25.000)

1785

Saxon Mile Sheets (Sächsische Meilenblätter; 1:12.000)

There are adequate historical maps available for the other project areas, like the Military Survey Maps of Austria-Hungary, Prussian Survey Maps and other national topographic maps.
